Rhyannon’s passion for health and exercise led her to complete her first degree in Exercise and Sports Science. This was followed by a more specialised Doctor of Physiotherapy, which allowed her to gain experience in a wide range of areas including: neurological conditions, paediatrics, musculoskeletal pain and acute sporting injuries. Rhyannon has worked in the fitness industry for over 5 years, during which she specialised in exercise during pregnancy and post-natal periods, as well as general exercise and rehabilitation for women and children.
Rhyannon has developed a special interest in women’s health and is passionate about working together with her client’s and will often incorporate her Pilates training to assist women to regain their strength and return to optimal function. Rhyannon is available to assist in the management of pregnancy related pelvic girdle and lower back pain, abdominal rehabilitation and pelvic floor related conditions. Rhyannon also enjoys working with children with developmental delay, disability and sporting injuries, and has done this in Australia and whilst volunteering in Cambodia earlier this year.
Rhyannon’s special interests include: pre and post- natal conditions, pelvic floor dysfunction, lower back and pelvic pain, neck pain, development and injuries in babies and children, pain and exercise rehabilitation following cancer, netball injuries, healthy ageing (including balance, strengthening and mobility) and exercise rehabilitation.
